CAD-CAM

One of the latest technological tools to be introduced is that of CAD-CAM: a camera records the impression and a software “designs” the personalized prosthesis, which is then produced by the same device. This rapid and accurate method is particularly useful for complex prostheses where greater precision is called for, especially useful in making complex and precise prosthetic appliances such as circular bridges or a single crown.

The materials used in the CAD-CAM system are not exposed to heat loads: this results in high quality alloys and materials implanted in the mouth. In other words, the materials go through a cold machining process.

CAD-CAM in our clinic is a guarantee for the creation of dental prosthetic appliances and an assurance of the durability of materials.

INTRAORAL SCANNER

Our studies predispose the award-winning TRIOS 3Shape intraoral scanner to improve the patient experience. Helps reduce chair time and offers new treatment options. A technology that makes it possible to take dental impressions “virtually”, examine the state of each individual tooth with the greatest detail (diagnoses caries, prevents treatment). In addition to allowing greater comfort for the patient, it allows easier processing with maximum precision, allowing an accurate communication process between doctor and dental laboratory.
